As one of the top suppliers in the industry, we ensure that our magnetic separator efficiently separates weak magnetic metal ores, including hematite, limonite, siderite, manganese ore, ilmenite, and wolstenite. Additionally, it excels in the separation of black and white tungsten as well as black tungsten from cassiterite. Trust our GPBS Series for superior performance and reliability in your mineral processing needs

    Working principle

The pulp enters the uniform feeding device of the magnetic separator through the feeding pipe, and after being fully dispersed, it is evenly sprinkled on the iron strip on the upper part of the magnetic plate. Under the action of gravity, the slurry flows downward along the inclined direction of the magnetic plate. The ferromagnetic material contained in the slurry is firmly adsorbed on the iron strip under the strong magnetic field provided by the magnetic bar. The motor rotation device drives the iron strip to move upward along the inclined direction of the magnetic plate, and at the same time, the adsorbed ferromagnetic material is brought into the iron discharge area. The flushing water of the iron discharge pipe is flushed into the tailings bucket and collected centrally. The non-magnetic slurry continues to flow downward along the magnetic plate and flows into the concentrate bucket and is collected centrally.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How does the flat plate magnetic separator work?
The slurry enters a uniform feeding device and is sprinkled onto the iron strip of the magnetic plate. Under gravity, the slurry flows downward. Ferromagnetic materials are adsorbed onto the iron strip by the strong magnetic field, while the motor drives the strip upward to transport the iron to the discharge area. Non-magnetic slurry continues downward and is collected in the concentrate bucket.
What is the maximum magnetic field intensity of this separator?
This high-gradient magnetic separator utilizes high-performance NdFeb materials with a unique magnetic circuit design, allowing the surface magnetic field to reach up to 15,000 GS (with a rated intensity of ≥14,000 GS).
Which materials are suitable for iron removal using this equipment?
It is highly effective for weak magnetic minerals and non-metallic minerals, including quartz sand, potassium feldspar, mica powder, nepheline, fluorite, sillimanite, spodumene, kaolin, manganese ore, weak magnetite, pyrrhotite, hematite, limonite, siderite, chromite, and red mud.
Can the belt speed and board slope be adjusted?
Yes. The slope of the board can be manually adjusted based on material conditions. Additionally, the conveyor belt speed can be adjusted through frequency conversion to optimize the iron removal efficiency.
What makes the conveyor belt durable?
The separator uses a specially designed, wear-resistant canvas conveyor belt. This material significantly increases the service life of the belt, reducing maintenance and replacement costs.
