High Gradient Plate Magnetic Separator - China Suppliers & Factory for Non-Metallic Ore Iron Purification

The GPBS series high gradient plate magnetic separator, also known as the plate magnetic separator, is an innovative product developed by our company. This advanced equipment is engineered for high gradient and intense field magnetic separation, making it ideal for the wet processing of non-metallic ores for iron purification. It is particularly effective in refining quartz, feldspar, nepheline ore, and kaolin by removing iron impurities. Furthermore, the GPBS series can be utilized for the wet separation of weakly magnetic metal ores, including hematite, limonite, siderite, manganese ore, ilmenite, and wolframite. This separator is also suitable for the separation of black and white tungsten, as well as black tungsten and cassiterite. As a leading factory in China, we are proud to provide top-quality magnetic separation solutions for various industries, catering to the needs of suppliers around the globe.

    Working principle

The pulp enters the uniform feeding device of the magnetic separator through the feeding pipe, and after being fully dispersed, it is evenly sprinkled on the iron strip on the upper part of the magnetic plate. Under the action of gravity, the slurry flows downward along the inclined direction of the magnetic plate. The ferromagnetic material contained in the slurry is firmly adsorbed on the iron strip under the strong magnetic field provided by the magnetic bar. The motor rotation device drives the iron strip to move upward along the inclined direction of the magnetic plate, and at the same time, the adsorbed ferromagnetic material is brought into the iron discharge area. The flushing water of the iron discharge pipe is flushed into the tailings bucket and collected centrally. The non-magnetic slurry continues to flow downward along the magnetic plate and flows into the concentrate bucket and is collected centrally.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: How does the flat plate magnetic separator separate ferromagnetic materials?
A: The slurry runs down the inclined magnetic plate. Ferromagnetic materials are strongly adsorbed onto the moving iron strip by the magnetic bar, carried upward to the discharge area, and flushed out, while non-magnetic slurry flows down into the concentrate bucket.
Q2: What is the maximum magnetic field intensity of this separator?
A: By utilizing high-performance NdFeb material and a unique magnetic circuit design, the surface magnetic field intensity of this equipment can reach up to 15,000 GS.
Q3: Which materials and industries is this equipment suitable for?
A: It is mainly used for weak magnetic minerals and removing iron from non-metallic minerals such as quartz sand, mica powder, potassium feldspar, kaolin, hematite, and fluorite. It is also applicable in coal, building materials, and non-metallic mining.
Q4: Can the running parameters be adjusted for different materials?
A: Yes. Both the slope of the magnetic board and the belt speed (via frequency conversion) are adjustable to match different material shapes and conditions for optimal iron removal.
Q5: What measures are taken to ensure the durability of the conveyor belt?
A: The conveyor belt is made from high-quality, wear-resistant canvas, which greatly extends its service life and reduces maintenance requirements.
Q6: Does this magnetic separator consume high amounts of energy?
A: No, the system is designed to save electricity and energy while maintaining high magnetic field sweeps and efficient iron separation.
