High Gradient Magnetic Separator MJT-DG Series - China Suppliers & Factory for Iron Removal in Dry Powder Materials
Scope of Application
For fine or powdered non-metallic feldspar, quartz, kaolin, frit, pigment, battery powder and other raw ore iron oxide (Fe2O3) or other weak magnetic impurities and mechanical iron mixed in the process of separation of magnetic substances; Remove weak magnetic oxides, dust rust and other pollutants from powdery materials, widely used in refractory materials, ceramics, glass and other non-metallic minerals and chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries purification materials; Sorting fine-grained mineral particles, such as magnetically fine-grained black metal hematite, pseudohematite, limonite, siderite, chromite, manganese ore, etc. Fine grade nonferrous metal wolframite, fine grain rare metal monazite and so on.
Technical Characteristics
-
Innovative magnetic circuit design, improve the utilization rate of magnetic energy, so that the magnetic field strength of the selection is increased by more than 8%, the background field strength can reach 9000GS.
-
The shell of the excitation coil adopts a fully sealed structure, which has the characteristics of moisture-proof, dust-proof, anti-corrosion, etc., and can work in harsh environment.
-
Using oil-water composite cooling method, the excitation coil heat dissipation is fast, the temperature rise is low, and the magnetic field thermal attenuation is small.
-
The magnetic medium with different structure of special materials has large magnetic field gradient and good iron removal effect.
-
The iron removal process and iron discharge process are carried out by vibration mode, and the iron removal is clean.
-
The material distribution box is equipped with a material stopper structure to solve the material leakage phenomenon around the flip plate, and completely separate the iron powder and basic materials.

Frequently Asked Questions
What materials are suitable for this magnetic separator?
It is ideal for nonmagnetic, dry fine powders or granules (typically 8 meshes) with an iron content of ≤1%, such as feldspar, quartz, kaolin, frit, pigment, and battery powder.
What is the maximum magnetic induction intensity of these separators?
Depending on the model, the magnetic induction intensity ranges from 16,000 Gs up to a maximum of 18,000 Gs, with background field strengths reaching up to 9,000 Gs.
How does the cooling system work on this equipment?
The separator utilizes an oil-water composite cooling method, which ensures rapid heat dissipation from the excitation coil, maintains a low temperature rise, and minimizes thermal attenuation of the magnetic field.
How is material leakage prevented during operation?
The material distribution box features a specialized material stopper structure that prevents leakage around the flip plate, completely separating the iron powder from the basic materials.
How is the accumulated iron removed and discharged?
Both the iron removal and iron discharge processes are driven by a vibration mode, ensuring that the separated magnetic impurities are thoroughly and cleanly discharged.
